In celebration of Thunderbirds Day, today we’re releasing a new trailer for our great, big, spectacular retrospective video about the 2004 Thunderbirds movie. Enjoy glimpses at some of the faces reflecting on 20 years of Jonathan Frakes’ live-action take on Thunderbirds, including some special guests who helped to bring the film to life.
Andrew Clements and Jack Knoll are spearheading the project and will be joined for discussions about the characters, script, music, vehicles and more by: Connor Flanagan, Olivia M. Grant, Willow Lambden-Smith, Ben Page, Chris Thompson, and other Thunderbirds fans and critics.
Brand new interviews have been conducted with Dominic Colenso (Virgil Tracy), John Beard (Production Designer), Dominic Lavery (Concept Artist), and Sophia Myles (Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward), with more guests to be announced soon!
The trailer also unveils some of the locations we’ve visited that were used in the film, our collection of props, costumes and pieces of set displayed up-close, and rare artwork from the development of the movie.
Thunderbirds The Movie | A 20th Anniversary Retrospective will be released on YouTube and the Security Hazard blog on Saturday, November 2nd 2024. We are continuing to add more and more content to the video, so viewers can expect hours of new material as Jack and Andrew dive deeper than anyone has before into the world of Thunderbirds (2004).
