Katherine has been dreading watching UFO for some reason, but the time has come for her to face her fears and tune in to SHADO’s first battle against the mysterious aliens. Will Jack be able to convince Katherine that the series is a science fiction classic, or will her opinions remain unchanged?

Ep 4 – The Secret Service
Katherine plays her first lifeline and, in what could probably be described as the best possible result, the duo sit down to watch the first episode of The Secret Service. It’s a world of espionage, dodgy diplomats, and gobbledygook – so will Katherine enjoy this Supemarionation/live-action hybrid?
Thunderbirds (2004)
Thunderbirds is a 2004 film adaptation of the classic 1960’s puppet television series, only without the puppets (and it’s not a television series either, obviously). It has a reputation that precedes it to an even greater extent than Parker’s nose precedes his face as he enters a room. It’s fair to say that quite a few people dislike the film for various reasons, some of which I’m sure I will cover over the course of this review.
